Our Practice

We are a Sunshine Coast based multidisciplinary firm specialising in architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and project management and have a broad project portfolio of successful residential, commercial, medical and community use, both within Australia and internationally.

Blackburne Jackson has practiced architecture on the Sunshine Coast for over forty years. However, the origins of our firm date back to 1932, when Godfrey Blackburne first commenced practice in Brisbane.

The Sunshine Coast practice has designed and documented many significant award-winning structures in Southeast Queensland, Victoria, and China. Our work has been recognised by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and local authorities, and have received numerous awards for excellence in planning, design and sustainability.

Our team is committed to providing clients with solutions that respect context, environmental sustainability and their budget. We strive for design with purpose and adopt a collaborative approach with project teams to create functional, innovative, comfortable and outstanding spaces.

Although we are based on the Sunshine Coast, we carry out work throughout Australia – with current projects located from Victoria to far North Queensland.
