With more than 20 years of experience in Australia, the Middle East, Asia and Europe, Gerard has completed a wide range of projects. His work includes large-scale public works projects, educational facilities, hotels and resorts, residential developments, commercial complexes, aged care facilities, marinas and waterfront developments.
Gerard’s construction management and overseas experience follows an extensive career in landscape architecture and urban design in the private and public sectors. His local government work included community consultation, development assessment, councillor and community visioning, workshop facilitation and public forums and master planning and implementation of key urban design projects. More recently he has completed a number of significant parklands along with various environmental and habitat regeneration projects.
Graduating from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Built Environment (Landscape Architecture) in 1991, Gerard then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Landscape Architecture in 1995.
